Strip Poker Game Show
Strip Poker was a television game show that aired on the USA network in 2000. It was hosted by Graham Elwood and Jennifer Cole was the card dealer. The game show pitted a pair of guys versus a pair of girls.A variant of 5 card poker was played using a deck of 24 cards, ranging from 9 to Ace. Prior to each question, a pair of cards came down a chute. The guys were then asked a question associated with feminine things. If they answered correctly, they'd earn $50 and had the choice of which card they wanted as part of their 5 card hand. The opposing team would receive the spare card and would also have to take off an article of clothing. Likewise, the girls would be posed a question associated with the male gender. This would alternate for the first two rounds. The team with the better hand after 5 cards won a bonus of $250. In round two, the money was doubled to $100 and the winning hand was still worth $250.
Round 3 was known as the "Lightning Round". One player from each team would step up to the microphone to answer the question. A correct answer earned you $100 and made your opponent take off an article of clothing while an incorrect one gave your opponent $100 and a loss of a piece of clothing.
