    Poker Wedding Cake

The game of poker is not just a man’s game. There are many women poker players around the world. It is no surprise that some couples are both avid poker players and end up getting married. To show their passion for the game, they even select a poker wedding cake for the celebration. These cakes have various designs which the couple can choose from. It can also have various flavors such as vanilla, strawberry or chocolate. The cakes are not hard to create as the bakers simply use an existing item and add decorations that show card play. The basic card suits are included. Toppings can also be added. Its design is usually a Royal Flush which is composed of the 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of the same suit. Some couples also choose a Four of a Kind wherein four numbers are all the same. It is usually the Aces selected although some would want a special number such as an Eight or Seven.

    Party poker promotion

The signup bonus is probably the most popular Party Poker promotion being offered. Just by signing up for the game, you can get a bonus worth $25 to $100 - or if you're lucky, over $6,000 worth of freerolls. The bonus is not offered on the Party Poker site; you have to get the bonus code from its affiliates and partner sites. To qualify, you need to have a money account, which requires a $50 initial deposit. Afterwards, you release the bonus by completing a required number of hands. Finally, the bonus is "cleared" using the 7x system. In this system, you play 7x the amount of the bonus (e.g. 700 hands for a $100 bonus) before the money is credited to your account. Multiple signups aren't allowed, and you can only avail of one bonus per account. Compare the bonus offers from various affiliate sites to find one with manageable terms and good offers.

    Party poker reload bonus

Besides the initial signup bonus, Party Poker occasionally offers bonuses for money reloads. The bonuses are meant to maintain existing players, particularly those with money accounts. Unlike the signup bonus, the Party Poker reload bonus is available on PartyPoker.com, not on its affiliate sites. To get the bonus, you need to obtain the bonus code either from the Party Poker site or its accredited informational sites. As with other promotions, the bonus is "cleared" (approved and credited to your account) after you have played raked hands equal to 7 times the amount of the bonus (e.g. 70 hands for a $10 bonus). Note that you have to complete this in just a few days, so you have to be an active player. New players can sign up first and obtain the signup bonus code, then reload to avail of the reload bonus. Note that you can only obtain one bonus per signup and per reload transaction. Stay up to date on Party Poker promotions to get dibs on the best offers.

    Party poker seat stealer

At Party Poker and other game sites, there's always competition for good seats. Tables with big or progressive jackpots, for example, are given a limited number of seats. Even the most active players sometimes miss out on good seats, despite waiting well in advance. Like the game, getting a good seat is a matter of luck. That's why many players resort to using Party Poker seat stealers, or small programs that help assure you of good poker seats. You'd be surprised at the number of "seaters", as they are called, available on the Internet. Some are even offered for free download. This system isn't legal, of course. Party Poker actively monitors all games to make sure all seats are legally obtained. However, some programs still get through the system and are used by dishonest players. If you suspect someone of being a Party Poker seat stealer, report him or her to the administrator immediately.

    Poker party food

Planning a poker party isn't hard. All you need is a deck of cards, some of your friends, and of course, a good amount and variety of party food. Finger foods are best for poker parties, as they're easy to handle and simple to prepare. Heavy food can take away the casual feel of the event. Chips make great poker party food because they require virtually no preparation. You just dump them on a plate, take out a few dips, and you're good to go. You can also make little sandwiches for those who want something heavier. Avoid anything sticky, especially if there's some strip poker planned. Drinks are also a must, of course. Stock up on cans of soda and a few mixed drinks, as well as beer. keep the alcohol in moderation; you don't want the drinking to get out of hand. As the host, you should stay sober enough to keep everything under control.

    Poker party supply

If you're planning a poker party, you've probably thought out the basics - a deck of cards, a nice table, a group of fun players. But if you want your party to be a standout, a few key additions can make all the difference. You can pick up some essentials from a poker party supply store online. Try decorating the room with giant cards or hanging up red, white, and black streamers to set a casino-like ambiance. Look for house or upbeat jazz music to get everyone in a light, easygoing mood. Little details such as play money napkins can make your party even more festive. Lighting is a good way to set the mood. Bright but toned-down lighting works best for casual parties. Try hanging up lighted dice or simply lay a dice cutout over your old lamp. If you're feeling particularly festive, you can even hang up blinking lights to go with the music.

    How to Bet on Poker

How to bet on poker and its pertinent ideas are all part of the must-know a newbie has to learn. So, let me just go on a bit about this topic: a typical run of wagering would go such: say, you would be moving first, if the game has antes, either check or bet, you choose the latter. Next gambler could then do any of 3 choices: to call (she could just match), raise, or she could surrender her hand. It would go on, if somebody makes a raise that you have done, by the time the action returns to you, the same choices would be yours to be studied. If you want to imbibe the rules on how to bet on poker, learn this- the betting round is done if everybody just calls on the most recent bets, and all those still in contention have placed the same sum of cash. Learning how to bet on poker means knowing the terms too, and 'checked around' refers to a round of wagering. It specifically means that everybody has checked, and no cash was placed into the pot. Then, there are the kinds of limits. Let me give two, first is the spread limit. This is most popular in home affairs. Here, a gambler could bet any sum within a specific limitation. Then, we have the fixed limit: here, one could raise/bet only with a fixed figure, for all betting rounds.

Player Poker Site for the US

Before the UIGEA got born, the phrase "player poker site for the US" did not hold any special meaning, after all, there were multitudes of them out there. When the UIGEA got enacted into law, so many online sites terminated their American-facing businesses. The Poker-for-Americans.com is a site whose objective is to help the American gambling populace be informed on the latest developments in the online wagering industry. So, for all intents and purposes, this site is a Player Poker Site for the US. Every 12 hours, updates are done to ensure that what you would read, is still what needs to be read, meaning, it is not obsolete news or something. Happenings concerning Full Tilt (now, that is one Player Poker Site for the US par excellence) have been noted too, Full Tilt came out with their declaration that they are still a hundred percent committed to US' poker gamblers. Well and good, and I sure hope that their tribe would increase. So there, if you wish to be updated on the latest trends and changes, check Poker-for-Americans. Who knows: the next news you might read is that the UIGEA has just been abolished, now that would be a godsend.

    World Series of Poker Players

No, this is not an article elaborating on the final 6 or 7 or 8 players of WSOP 2007, but this is really for and about you- World Series of Poker Players - those aspiring to join, in whatever form it takes. (Meaning, be it a direct buyin if you have the cash, or via the satellites/qualifiers, and that does not include bringing a gun to the WSOP first day of events and demanding to be let in). Two years ago, the World Series of Poker players congregated in full force, turning that year's edition into the biggest tourney in the game's history, with more than eight thousand people. Last year was a different story though, it got cut down to just around 6,400 persons, many thanks to the UIGEA prohibiting satellite qualified indviduals from joining in from the Online rooms. I am sure those World Series of Poker Players raised hell over that, I mean, I would if I were in their shoes. Whatever, this year's edition has the promise of a bigger event, and those World Series of Poker players who dream of making it to this year's tradition, there is another door for you! At the PokerWorks, you would be offered to play at the satellites, and if Moneymaker did it (another site, not PokerWorks) years back, why can't you?

Slot Machine Income from Poker Players

I remember about 5 years ago, I had a "gang"- a casino gang, about 5 or 6 of us, and all of us knew how to play all of them- roulette, poker, SLOTS, even baccarat for that matter. One of us never played slots, and whenever we asked him why he did not want slots play, he said, "there's no money in it"- or a line to that effect. At that time, I never heard anybody utter the phrase 'Slot Machine Incomefrom Poker Players'. Well, I just remembered him (we lost touch with him) before writing this article. Indeed, at that time years ago, 'nickel slot machine gamblers' proved to be the brunt of so many jokes, but not anymore. For these past years, the multi-coin and multi-line games have undergone a makeover, thanks to the rise of novel technologies, and now, the phrase "Slot Machine Income from Poker Players" is no longer something to laugh at. The words "Slot Machine Income from Poker Players" or for that matter, "slot machine income from roulette/craps gamblers" have now turned into reality. At the same time that the coins' number mandated for max bets rise, it is just expected and undestandable that denominations would go down, if the managements of casinos wish the high-rollers and the average poker buff to give them a go.
