Poker party food
Posted in Poker Room Musings on July 6th, 2008
Planning a poker party isn't hard. All you need is a deck of cards, some of your friends, and of course, a good amount and variety of party food. Finger foods are best for poker parties, as they're easy to handle and simple to prepare. Heavy food can take away the casual feel of the event.
Chips make great poker party food because they require virtually no preparation. You just dump them on a plate, take out a few dips, and you're good to go. You can also make little sandwiches for those who want something heavier. Avoid anything sticky, especially if there's some strip poker planned.
Drinks are also a must, of course. Stock up on cans of soda and a few mixed drinks, as well as beer. keep the alcohol in moderation; you don't want the drinking to get out of hand. As the host, you should stay sober enough to keep everything under control.Social Bookmarking
